Which Super Mindset Are You?
In his book, Adel Pearce identifies three mindsets people have about their super. Most of us fall into one - and knowing which one you are is the first step to changing it.

The Avoider
Ignores their super entirely. Doesn't check statements. Doesn't think about retirement. Assumes "it'll work out." The default fund does its thing. Life moves on.
"I'll deal with it later."
The Reactor
Only checks super when something goes wrong - a bad statement, a news scare, a mate's comment at a BBQ. Reacts in bursts. Reads one article. Gets worried. Then goes back to ignoring it.
"I should really look into that."
The Builder
Actively manages their super toward a goal. Understands where their money is. Has a plan - or is building one. Takes control instead of hoping for the best.
"I know where my super is and where it's going."
Be Honest: Which One Are You?
Most of Delphi & Co's clients start as Avoiders or Reactors. That's normal. The fact that you're reading this means you're already moving toward being a Builder.
If you're an Avoider...
Start by checking your super balance. Just that. No decisions. No pressure. Just look at the number. Then ask yourself: after all those years of hard work, is it where you expected? If not, take the Delphi Scorecard to understand your options.
If you're a Reactor...
You already know something needs to change. The difference between a Reactor and a Builder is consistency. Stop researching in bursts and start with one clear action. The Delphi Scorecard gives you a structured starting point - not just another article to read.
If you're already a Builder...
You're ahead of most Australians. The next question is: is your super working as hard as you are? Could it own real property? Could you be doing more with what you've already built? The Delphi Scorecard helps you see if there's a better path forward.
